 Maddington Toyota Pre-Delivery Centre is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of vehicles and parts to stakeholders. The Tow Truck Driver role Vehicle Transporters involves safely transporting vehicles using specialized trucks and trailers, strong attention to detail for loading/securing cars, diligent pre/post-trip inspections, adherence to traffic laws, communication with dispatch, and accurate record-keeping for damage or delivery status, ensuring vehicles (from standard cars to luxury/classic models) arrive on time and intact.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading & Unloading: Safely loading and securing various vehicles onto open trailers to prevent damage during transit.
• Driving: Operating heavy-duty trucks and trailers, maneuvering large vehicles, and navigating diverse routes.
• Inspections: Performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, trailer, and securing equipment.
• Maintenance: Conducting basic troubleshooting and maintenance on transport equipment.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate delivery logs, vehicle condition reports, and incident documentation.
• Communication: Liaising with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules, delays, and delivery updates.
• Safety: Adhering strictly to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols, monitoring weather/road conditions. 
  

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
• Experience with vehicle transport and trailer types.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Physical ability for securing vehicles and working flexible hours.
